How do personal and institutional factors shape student opportunities to study abroad? At the EUROSTUDENT Talks on February 13th, we heard about a study conducted by the EHESO consortium and the EUROSTUDENT team which examined the relationship between student demographics, institutional factors, and participation in temporary international mobility programmes. Dr. Inga Popovaite (PPMI | Part of the Verian Group) discussed how individual and institutional characteristics affect student mobility. The talk shed light on the intersection of these characteristics that create additional barriers to equal opportunities in short term international mobility.
