How has the war in Ukraine affected HE and how have universities and students responded to this major crisis? What can other HEIs across Europe and beyond learn from the Ukrainian experience when it comes to resilience, continuity, and student engagement during times of crisis? At the EUROSTUDENT Talks on September 18th, we heard directly from student representatives from the Ukrainian Association of Students (UAS), Viktoriia Hermanchuk and Volodymyr Sydiaha. Together, they explored the challenges faced by students and institutions during the ongoing war, the innovations and adaptations that have emerged, and the broader lessons that may inform on crisis preparedness and resilience in HE across Europe.
