Paid work alongside studies gives students important experience on the labour market and provides an additional income source. In Norway, it is quite common for students to work alongside their studies, but analyses based on EUROSTUDENT VI data indicate that there is a trade-off between time spent on paid work and time spent on study-related activities. At the EUROSTUDENT Talks, Anna-Lena Keute from Statistics Norway gave an overview of the situation of working students in Norway in 2022. How much time do different groups of students in Norway spent on study-related activities and paid work?
