What will inclusive distance higher education look like in 2050? Whose voices are shaping it? At the EUROSTUDENT Talks on March 12, Irina Haury (FernUniversität in Hagen) presented first findings from the cumulative dissertation project “Inclusive Distance Higher Education in 2050: the perspective of students.” Her presentation spotlighted key policy-related insights emerging from two international case studies conducted at the University of South Africa (UNISA) and FernUniversität (FeU) in Hagen. The research examined institutional inclusion strategies and policy guidelines at both universities in order to gain deeper insights into how inclusion is understood and which marginalised groups are currently being addressed and how.
